RICHARD SUIKER

Growing up in an inland shipping family meant that Richard could be found behind the helm from an early age.
In 1998 he started his career as a sailor on the ms Vrido, then as captain on mcs Eben Haëzer and since 2006 captain on MCS Saluté at Shipping Factory. Since 2018, Richard was also responsible as QHSSE manager for quality & safety and was the contact person for training & human resources for all three container ships within the Shipping Factory company. In 2021, a takeover took place as a result of which Richard started working as a fleet manager at Delfia Inland Shipping, as a result of which his work as captain on the MCS Saluté / Alfa Menta stopped and he focuses entirely on managing the ships. Richard is fully responsible for QHSSE and responsible for the operational matters for the two container ships Alfa Menta, Alfa Grande and the four chemical tankers Experta, Experience, Excellence & Expedition.
